Prayer Shawl Ministry

The members of this ministry create no-sew fleece shawls while remembering with prayers the special needs of recipients. This ministry meets one evening a month, and also semi-monthly on a Sunday afternoon as children in the RCIA Process join us in prayer as we all assemble the shawls. Everyone is invited to come extend your love to a neighbor through this ministry, but younger children need to be accompanied with an adult.

We appreciate any donations to our ministry - whether it be money, fleece material, fabric scissors or cutting wheels, or even coupons from a fabric or craft store that we can use to purchase these items.

Please call us if you know a parishioner who might receive comfort in receiving a shawl, along with the prayers that accompany it.
