When you take a moment to think about family and friends, it seems we can all name a few individuals who were baptized Catholic and now no longer share in a Catholic faith community. Our own names may even be included in this list.

Knowing a number of non-practicing Catholic loved ones is common. Our lives take us in many directions; our faith journey is on a new path today from what it was years ago. As our lives change, so does our faith. Our life experiences may foster our relationship with God while, at other times, our experiences are a hindrance.

We are continually called to a life centered in the Eucharist, community and love. Faith in God that is nourished by the Eucharist, the Good News, Mass and the love of God lived serving in discipleship, is a life that has meaning and direction.
