Directions To The St. Michael Parish Campus

St. Michael Parish is easy to find. It is basically on U.S. Route 30, one mile east of Indianapolis Boulevard (Route 41.)

Directions to Church – The main entrance to the church is on Anna Street which is exactly 1 mile east of Indianapolis Blvd (Route 41.)  When traveling east or west on Route 30 and you see the church steeple, you are ½ mile from the church.  Look for Anna Street and go north.  The church entrance is about 500 feet from Route 30.

Directions to the Parish Office and School – Follow the above directions to the church except go past the church entrance to the first stop sign which is Wilhelm Street. Go east on Wilhelm.  The school is on the north side of Wilhelm. The office is located just east of the old church. It is a white building and there is a sign in front. Expressway Exits – When traveling on I-80/94 (Borman expressway) exit at Indianapolis Blvd South and proceed to Route 30, about 6 miles.  Follow directions above.

From I-65 exit Route 30 west and proceed about 7 miles to Anna Street (see above.)

From 394 in Illinois exit Lincoln Highway (Route 30) east and continue into Indiana. When you reach Route 41 or Indianapolis Blvd follow directions above.

Other landmarks and distances – Teibel’s restaurant, Walmart, and many other businesses are at the intersection of Indianapolis Blvd and Route 30.  The intersection is well marked.  The campus is 5 miles west of Taft Street and 6.3 miles west of Broadway  on Route 30 in Merrillville.

As noted above, Route 30 is also known as Lincoln Highway and Route 41 is also known as Indianapolis Blvd.
